Alberobello, a fairy tale village, an enchanted place where seems you are walking among gnomes houses, it's actually a real village where the inhabitants live all the year round in little circular buildings with a conical stone roofs with mysterious symbols drawn on. Its historic center is one of the most famous UNESCO sites of the region, in a lot of narrow streets that climb the hill there are more than a thousand of trulli, typical peasants dwelling, with a long very interesting history! Alberobello is the most important stage of your journey in Puglia!
Martina Franca is a charming Apulian village located in the Itria valley. You will be enchanted by the beauty of the churches of the historic stately buildings and the characteristic historic center where every corner offers an unmissable glimpse.
After lunch we will reach Locorotondo. This little, white city is perched on a hill overlooking Itria valley, dotted with trulli and  vineyards and it's famous for the production of a local white wine DOC. The name refers to the plan of the town, a round place, still clearly visible today, which makes the historic center look like a round white crown. Everything here is silent, clean and flowery, like a fantasy village, among the neat and white alleys you can breathe the scents of the local peasant cuisine of Puglia that here reaches perfection!
At 2.30 pm departure from Locorotondo to Bari, where we will arrive at approximately 3.30 pm.

Ostuni, Cisternino and Polignano Day Trip from Bari

Partenza alle ore 9.00 dal Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari. Prima tappa Ostuni, circa 1 ora di auto da Bari.
Ostuni, la «perla bianca della Puglia» appare come un miraggio a chi arriva dalla strada che la collega alla statale costiera, una nuvola bianca sospesa nel cielo blu tipico della zona e affacciata su una vasta valle di ulivi millenari protetta dallo Stato. Abbagliante il candore delle case e delle strade imbiancate a calce, la sera si trasforma in un magico villaggio di luci con una vivace vita notturna! Perdersi nei suoi vicoli circondati dal silenzio sarà un piacere per gli occhi e per l'anima, impossibile non riconoscere la forte impronta greca che caratterizza la città e che ci fa capire le origini della città bianca per eccellenza!
Alle 12.00 partenza per Cisternino dove arriveremo dopo mezz'ora.
Le case imbiancate di calce di questa graziosa cittadina arroccata su una collina sono circondate dalla verde vegetazione tipica della Murgia dei trulli, in una posizione molto panoramica con vista sulla Valle d'Itria, è stata dichiarata una delle 100 cittadine più belle d'Italia! La chiesa principale dedicata a S. Nicola ospita una statua del 1517 di una Madonna con Bambino di Stefano da Putignano, il più importante artista rinascimentale della Puglia!
30 minuti di tempo libero per il pranzo e poi alle 14.00 ci sposteremo da Cisternino per raggiungere Polignano a Mare.
Spettacolare e panoramica è la posizione del centro storico di questa cittadina a sud di Bari, arroccata su un'alta scogliera bianca a picco sul mare, Polignano a mare offre un dedalo di vicoli che si aprono sorprendentemente su balconi a 30 metri sul livello del mare. Capitale del gelato artigianale pugliese, è la città natale di Domenico Modugno, la cui statua a lui dedicata svetta sullo splendido lungomare della città. Teatro di diversi set cinematografici internazionali, è una delle mete turistiche più famose per il suo mare turchese e pulito, premiata da Legambiente!
Alle 16.30 partenza da Polignano a Mare per raggiungere Bari alle 17.30

Matera and Altamura Day Trip from Bari

In Matera we will take a 2 hours of walking tour and we will visit  this rupestrian city ,an incredible and unique place on the Murgia hills. Its old town carved in a deep ravine, is the first UNESCO site of the southern Italy, where people lived in houses- cave from the Prehistoric Age to 1952, in two amazing districts called Sassi where we can walking through lanes and paths of centuries of history very well preserved. We will visit rupestrian churches with Bizantin frescos, a cave-houses and also the medieval cathedral and the nobles district in this ancient city called the “Italian Bethlehem”, where a lot of movies have been shot including “The Passion” directed by Mel Gibson.
After the walking tour, 1 hour free time for shopping and free lunch, there are a lot of typical restaurant in the old town.
We will leave Matera to reach Altamura after 30 minutes. Situated in a dominating position on the Murga hills, in a National park, Altamura has an old town very interesting with a big cathedral of the medieval period, famous for its portal rich in stone decorations. Very known for the typical local bread, defined the best in Italy and with high quality mark DOP, Altamura has a lot of stone ovens where you can taste the typical disches of the wheat city!
At 3.00 pm we will leave Altamura to reach Bari at 4.00 pm.

After we will move  to Polignano a mare , about half an hour by car where we'll have free time for free lunch and to visit the city.
