Ostuni, Cisternino e Polignano

We meet at 9.00 am at the meeting point  with our official and licensed guide and our driver to go to Ostuni, 1 hour drive from Bari.
Ostuni, the "white pearl of Puglia" appears as a mirage to those arriving from the road that connects it to the coastal state road, a white cloud suspended in the blue sky typical of the area and overlooking a vast valley of millenary olive trees protected by the State. Dazzling the whiteness of the houses and the whitewashed streets, in the evening it turns into a magical village of light with a lively nightlife! Getting lost in its alleys surrounded by silence will be a pleasure for the eyes and for the soul, it is impossible not to recognize the strong Greek imprint that characterizes the city and that makes us understand the origins of the white city par excellence!
After we will move to Cisternino where we will arrive in about 30 minutes
The whitewashed houses of this neat and charming town perched on a hilltop are surrounded by the green typical vegetation of the Murgia dei trulli, in a very panoramic position overlooking Itria Valley, it's declared one of the 100 most beautiful little town of Italy! The main church dedicated to S. Nicola houses a 1517 statue of a Madonna with Child by Stefano da Putignano, the most important Renaissance artist of Puglia! Free time for lunch and then we will move from Cisternino to reach Polignano a Mare.
 Spectacular and scenic is the location of the historic center of this town in the south of Bari, perched on a high white cliff overlooking the sea,Polignano a mare offers a maze of alleys that open surprisingly on balconies 30 meters above the sea level. Capital of the Apulian artisan ice cream, it is the birthplace of Domenico Modugno, whose statue dedicated to him stands out on the beautiful city waterfront. Theater of several international movies sets, it is one of the most famous tourist destinations for its turquoise and clean sea, awarded by Legambiente!
At 4.30 pm departure from Polignano a Mare to reach Bari at 5.30 pm.
